   Abstract 

Various quality improvement techniques have been used till date by various researchers, whether for the purpose of problem-solving or the new product development. It has become difficult for an organization to make a choice among them for the specific case. This paper is an attempt to discuss the basic flow of processes in each of the techniques. The similarities and differences have also been discussed so as a general model can be developed which can be applicable to all cases in an industry. The use of color coding among various techniques enables the ease of understanding the different techniques. After reading this paper the mode of dilemma would be released.
